The Fursuit Dance Competition is a traditional part of any furry convention. Dancers put on their coolest costume and show off their dancing ability on the stage!

Whether it’s a concert, a discussion about a specific topic, a social gathering for a shared hobby, or a workshop to learn new skills… we’d like to hear about what you have to share!
Applications generally open in the summer and close by the end of the year prior to the next Furnal Equinox.

Fursuit Dance Competition
In order to compete, applicants must attend try-outs (preliminaries) at the convention. The best dancers at the try-outs will move on to the final competition and dance on stage in front of an audience!

Masquerade
 Each performer is required to have a planned act or skit. This can range from a dance to a comedy routine to any performance event that the participant can come up with. Creativity and originality is encouraged!
