The majority of programming for Furnal Equinox is run by those attending the con who volunteer their time to share their passions with others!
Whether it’s a discussion about a specific topic, a social gathering for a shared hobby, or a workshop to learn new skills… we'd like to hear about what you have to share!
Applications generally open in the summer and close by the end of the year prior to the next Furnal Equinox.

Nightly Dance DJs 🎧
Each night of Furnal Equinox, a dance is held that brings people together to close out a great day. DJs from within our own community provide the music for our nightly dances!

Fursuit Dance Competition 🎶
The Fursuit Dance Competition is a traditional part of any furry convention. Dancers put on their coolest costume and show off their dancing ability on the stage!
In order to compete, applicants must attend try-outs (preliminaries) at the convention. The best dancers at the try-outs will move on to the final competition and dance on stage in front of an audience!

💃Pas Le Choix de Danser
PCD is a 1v1, single elimination "dance battle" event! Fursuits are not necessary to compete!

Masquerade 🎭
The Masquerade is a variety show-style event where performers can show off their talents and skills for the convention attendees!
Each performer is required to have a planned act or skit. This can range from a dance to a comedy routine to any performance event that the participant can come up with. Creativity and originality is encouraged!

FurnalFest 🎸
FurnalFest is a music festival hosted at Furnal Equinox, bringing folks together to see, hear and enjoy live music performed by furry musicians in a multi-hour concert of various genres.
