FurnalFest

That’s awesome! We welcome a diverse range of musical acts, from solo performers to full bands and from folk, to indie, to rock and everything in between. Please read this page carefully to know how to put your best paw forward when you submit your application.

Applications can be submitted through the form below until 11:59pm Eastern time on Friday, November 20th, 2026. No submissions will be accepted after this time. All applicants will be contacted at the email provided upon approval, backup slot, or rejection. If you are selected for the FurnalFest lineup or as a backup, all members of your group will need to register for the convention within two weeks and provide proof of registration and badge names.

The FurnalFest team will be maintaining contact through the email provided on the form and expect responses within a reasonable time (understanding we all have lives outside to attend) in order to maintain your spot in the festival lineup. An input list and/or stage plot including all band members, vocal mics and instruments will be expected to be submitted via email closer to the event.

Maintaining email responses is vital for us to know what is needed for your band going into the event and to coordinate logistics such as gear sharing (e.g. drum kits) with other performers/bands.

Shortly before the convention, you will receive your sound check call time via the email, with a call time tailored to your performance.

Demos can be shared in the form as links to video and/or audio files hosted externally. Please submit one or multiple demos (rehearsal and/or performance video, and/or single-take audio recording) that all together run at least 30 minutes long and up to 60 minutes. Feel free to provide multiple demos from different shows and/or rehearsals. Video from a live show is not required; rehearsal and practice videos are still welcome and will be evaluated as well, but seeing how you put on a show for an audience is definitely helpful in putting your best paw forward!

We’re evaluating the live sound of your performance as well as your energy and stage presence. We want to see how you put on a show to engage and entertain a crowd.

All applicants are encouraged to ask for feedback from the FurnalFest team, and to provide feedback on the process following the selection, though decisions from the FurnalFest team are final.
