Following the lead on many organizations over the past few years, Furnal Equinox has made the decision to discontinue our presence on Twitter, now known as X. This has been a discussion for some time, and was made due to the platform’s recent direction. We will continue to answer DMs on Twitter for a time, but please direct all new questions to our contact form (fastest response times) or Bluesky/Facebook chats.
As alternatives such as Bluesky, Threads, and the Fediverse have gained popularity, it has become clear that we can continue to deliver timely updates to attendees through our other social media channels.
Our Instagram, which has not provided updates since 2023, will also be discontinued.
In response to attendee feedback, beginning this year, we will make information equally available across all of our active platforms, including our website. We will also be working to provide new ways to interact with us, including a Telegram channel that will provide exclusively critical convention updates.
