We hope all our dealers are excited for Furnal Equinox: Monsters In Toronto! We have a few important updates regarding the Dealer’s Den that we’d like to share.
Adult-Oriented Content
First, we would like to clarify the rule regarding what can be displayed inside the SFW Dealer’s Den. Adult content can still be sold within this section of the Dealer’s Den. However, we will require all of these items in the SFW section to be displayed inside a separate 18+ binder that is closed, regardless of censorship (i.e., sticky notes, taped paper, etc…). Furnal Equinox considers “adult-oriented material” as follows:
- Exposed genitalia
- Exposed nipples
- Exposed/bare butts
- Art with a focus on exposed breasts/cleavage
- Suggestive or overtly sexual acts (even if the subject(s) are clothed)
- Explicit nudity
- Badges/content referencing adult-oriented actions/terms such as “bottom” or “top”
If any content being sold in the SFW section of the Dealer’s Den falls in these categories, it must be located inside a separate 18+ binder that is closed. Please keep in mind that determinations will be made on a case-by-case basis for displayed items that have received a complaint or have been noted by staff as potentially adult-oriented. If you aren’t sure if something you sell is considered adult content, you are highly encouraged to contact us with questions so we can verify in advance.
Buffet Reminder
On the lighter side, we’d like to remind you that dealers now have a paid buffet during the Saturday lunch (SFW) and dinner (18+) meal breaks they may choose to opt into stay energized during their time dealing at Furnal Equinox. The buffet will cost $45.
We are supplying a range of items, including eggplant dip and chips, tomato and olive danishes, vegan empanadas, chicken and apple salad pita pockets, dumplings, sandwiches, mini corndogs, popcorn, flatbreads, chips, smoothies, mousse domes, tarts, fruit, and more!
We provided as many options as possible to be inclusive of everyone’s dietary restrictions. Please keep in mind that the dealer’s buffet is for dealers only.
