Here's a quick overview of all the programming that we have planned for this year's convention!

Attendees are a big part of the programming that we put on each year, and we'll be posting a little sample of what we have to offer!

Opening and Closing Ceremonies

Join us as we open the convention on Friday morning and bring the event to a close on Sunday night. Our concom will share their tips for enjoying the event, introduce our special guests... then at closing ceremonies we'll recap the highlights of the convention and let you know what our plans are for next year! Expect some special surprises, too. After closing ceremonies, join us for the Dead Dog dance!

Programming and Panels

Furnal Equinox is a great place to learn about the many aspects of furry, or to share your knowledge with others! Our panels cover a wide variety of topics: attending your first convention, drawing artwork from introductory to an advanced level, fursuit building and performance, the history of furry, psychology, and other social gatherings!

Fursuit Parade and Photography

Debuting your new fursuit at Furnal Equinox or showing off an old favourite? Then join in the Fursuit Parade on Saturday afternoon! A group photo will be taken before the parade begins, and make sure to arrive early, because there are plenty of suiters who are going to want to show off! Also make sure to stop by the Dealers Den to get more intimate photos taken of your suit, so start mugging in the mirror for your individual or group shots!

Fursuit Games

Our Fursuit Games take place on Saturday with plenty of wacky events, ceremonies, and friendly competition among our teams of fursuiters. Make sure to sign up early, as space is limited! And even if you're not a suiter, make sure to come out and watch the fuzzy competitors duel, and don't forget to bring your camera to photograph our potential gold medallists! Sign-ups will be first-come-first-serve basis at the convention.

Fursuit Dance Competition

So you think you can dance? Then get your fursuit on and get yourself onto the dance floor in front of our judges so you can show off your moves! Make sure to join in for the preliminaries, and then make sure you're present for the finals as our competitors take the floor one at a time. Our judges were wowed with everyone's performances last year — who will come out on top?

The Masquerade is a celebration of the performance skills of our attendees, both amateur and professional. Do you have a skit or act that you've always wanted to perform on stage? Do you have a skill as a singer or instrumentalist? Then apply as a performer, and show your talents on stage in front of a live audience! And for all those attending... be prepared to be wowed!

Hospitality Suite

Attendees at Sponsor level or higher will have access to the Wolf's Den throughout the convention! This suite is located in convention space, and various snacks and soft drinks will be available throughout the con in the Den. Not only that, but we host a pizza party for our sponsors on Saturday night, and there's plenty available for all our sponsors! Supersponsors also get access to an exclusive luncheon with the Guests of Honour!

Video Games

Come to our video game room and compete on our consoles... stamp your feet, play like a rock star and beat the snot out of your opponent as you participate in gaming tournaments throughout the convention! Games like DDR and Street Fighter will be available, as well as a Rock Band exhibition stage... and we might even see classic arcade or pinball machines, too! Will you be crowned champion?

Every night of the convention, the lights go down, the volume comes up and the beat starts thumping for hours of high-energy dancing. We have music and DJs for every taste in music — and everyone who comes out to the dance gets glowsticks and bracelets, so make sure to show up and put them to good use as you show us your best moves! The first hour of the dance each night is designated as "Fursuit Friendly", so suiters, come on down and join us!

Looking for something to do in the downtime between events? Join us in one of the Zoo spaces we have set up in the Muskoka foyer or near the Dealers Den. Mingle with other attendees and perhaps even enjoy a casual game or two!
