You can register for the convention at our early bird registration rates until November 30, 2012. However, after November 30 prices go up by $5. So you should register now — not only does it secure your place at the con, but it's the best deal you can get!

And don't forget, if you're a dealer, there are still several tables left. You can get your hands on them by going to our Dealers page and filling out the application form.

Just a reminder of our registration levels:

  • An attendee registration is $35 and gives you access to the convention
  • Upgrade to sponsor for $65 and receive a FE 2013 T-shirt, and access to our Wolf's Den sponsor lounge.
  • Upgrade to supersponsor for $130 and in addition to all sponsor perks, you get admission to an exclusive luncheon, a custom-engraved dogtag, and a personal mention in our conbook!

DJ Search Underway

Attention, DJs!

Each night of Furnal Equinox, the troops go off duty and our regular programming comes to an end. Then the lights start to flash, and the beats start to pulse as our dances get underway and run well into the night.

Furnal Equinox is looking for skilled DJs to go behind the turntables for the 2013 convention! We welcome a variety of styles and preferred genres, but the most important thing we want to hear is the skill of keeping the dance floor moving. Even the most stoic soldier should be able to move his hips!

To apply to be a DJ, contact us at dance@furnalequinox.com. Send us a brief mix of the type of music that you plan to play at the convention (MP3 format, please). Note you should be prepared to play for one hour at the convention. Once you do, we'll get in touch with you with further details.

Halloween Party This Weekend

Just a reminder to join us for the Furnal Equinox sponsored Halloween Party, this Saturday, October 27 starting at noon!

In addition to plenty of spooky foods and surprises, there will be prizes for best-dressed costumes — both fursuiter and non-fursuiter! You're welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks, as well as money for a potential pizza order. (This is a dry party, so no alcohol, please — thank you!)

We'll have some artists present at the con who would be happy to draw for you. Also, local plush retailer Critterama will be present at the convention with a portfolio of plush to peruse and purchase! (Visit their Facebook site at facebook.com/critterama for more details.)

You can find us at 24 Mabelle Avenue in Etobicoke. Buzz 404 when you come in, and take the elevator down to floor B1.

If you are taking public transit, note that the subway will be shut down starting at Keele Station this weekend, though shuttle busses will be running. Once you arrive at Islington Station, Mabelle Avenue is only a few minutes' walk away.

For drivers, take the Burnhamthorpe Road exit from Highway 427, then go east until you reach the lights at Dundas Street. After the traffic lights, go straight onto Cordova, and Mabelle Avenue is the first street on the right. If you need parking, contact Silvax at silvax@furnalequinox.com in advance for a parking pass, though there is also paid parking in the area.

See you there!
