List Of Panels Online!

Ever since Furnal Equinox 2011 was announced, a number of people have asked us "When is the schedule going to be posted?" And up to this point, we've always responded with "Be patient!" However, the mysterious is almost at an end -- later this week, we'll be posting the event schedule for the con!

But for the time being, we are very pleased to announce our panels and panelists for FE 2011! We have over thirty different events and panels on offer this year, and each of them is run by attendees like you who would like to share their experiences and knowledge with the fandom.

Help Wanted!

Yes, Furnal Equinox needs your help! Volunteers are the real Wild Magic behind the con, because without you it just wouldn't happen! We need extra paws to step up and make things happen before, during, and after the con.

Everyone can help us -- no experience is required. However, if you do have special skills or resources, let us know and we'll put them to good use! And if you've worked a con before, then we'd really love to hear from you!

FE Newsletter: February 2011

Environment Canada is apparently calling for a high of + 12 Celsius in Toronto on Friday. Could spring be on the way? One thing's for sure -- Furnal Equinox is definitely approaching quickly!

A summary of what's covered in this issue:

Furnal Equinox Goes International
As you've likely heard already, we are moving to the International wing of the Doubletree this year! As a result of the move, we're able to offer a bigger Dealers' Den in one room, an Artists' Alley, and more programming!

Prereg: Three Weeks To Go!

Time's running out to experience the Wild Magic!

As of today, there's less than three weeks left to take advantage of online preregistration for Furnal Equinox!

Last Call for Programming!

As you've almost certainly heard by now, Furnal Equinox is expanding to a new venue in 2011 with more rooms and more opportunities for panels and other programming. We're able to offer a great breadth of panels thanks to the initiative of our membership (that's you!) but this is the last chance to get your ideas in before submissions close this week!

To make sure that we can offer a good breadth of panels, we are specifically looking for people who are interested in running the following events:

- Species gatherings (canines and felines in particular!)
- Authors to host panels on writing.
